About Warble
Warble is a web app that turns a voice note into a captioned video you can post on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, or X. No camera, no editing, no AI avatar.
What is Warble?
Warble is a web app that turns a voice note into a video you can post in moments.
You simply record what you want to say and Warble will turn the transcript into animated captions that are perfectly timed to your audio.
No need to get on camera, no editing timeline required, and no creepy AI avatars. Just your own voice on screen.
What does Warble do?
Warble takes an audio recording and gives back a finished video file. You record or upload the audio, choose how it should look by picking a theme, and Warble returns an MP4 with your words burned in, either vertical 1080 by 1920 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, or widescreen 1920 by 1080 for YouTube and the web.
- Record a voice note in the browser, or upload audio you already have
- Trim the recording on its waveform, so a longer file becomes the part you want
- Automatic transcription, punctuated, and timed to individual words
- Edit the transcript, so a misheard word is fixed before it reaches the video
- A choice of visual styles, each with its own type, colour and motion
- Download the finished MP4 and post it wherever you post
- Upgrade to the Pro or Power plans for even more features:
- Your own brand colours, applied across every style
- Separate profiles, each with its own name, handle and photo
- And for Power users: the ability to use a bespoke theme designed by the Warble team just for you.
How does Warble work?
Four steps, from talking to a file on your device. Nothing to install, and no editing software at any point.
- Record up to 2 minutes in the browser, or upload an audio file. (If your file is longer than 2 minutes you can choose which section you want)
- Warble transcribes the audio and shows you the words, so you can fix any it misheard.
- Pick a visual style.
- Warble renders the video ready for you to download and post.
Who is Warble for?
Warble is for people who want to post more video but don't want the hassle of getting on camera. Founders and solo operators, consultants, coaches, recruiters, and agencies posting on behalf of client brands. The common thread is someone who can explain their work in two minutes of talking but loses an afternoon to filming and editing it.
How is Warble different from other video tools?
Warble starts from audio, and nothing else. Caption and clipping tools such as Submagic, Opus Clip and Headliner start from footage you have already filmed, so you still have to actually get on camera and film something. Avatar tools such as HeyGen and Synthesia remove the filming by generating a presenter and a voice, so what people watch is not you. Warble does neither: there is no footage to shoot and no synthetic person. The styles are all designed by a motion designer and the frame is built around your real recording, so the voice is yours and the only thing on screen is your own words.
What does Warble cost?
Warble is a subscription, priced by how many videos you make each month. A new account gets 3 free videos over 14 days and is never charged automatically when that ends, and every paid plan is billed monthly or annually with tax included. See pricing for the current plans.
Who makes Warble?
Warble is built and run by Thomas, a freelance motion designer. As a professional motion designer Thomas has designed each theme on the site, creating each to have its own typography, movement and style. Need a custom theme? It'll be designed by a motion designer to suit your requirements. Questions, feedback or press: get in touch.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be on camera?
No. Warble exists for people who do not want to film themselves, yet still want to create authentic video posts: it's your voice and your words in the video. There is no lighting or camera to set up. You can record directly or write a script and read it without worrying about how it looks when you read it.
Does Warble use an AI avatar or a cloned voice?
No. The voice in the video is your own recording, played back unchanged, and there is no synthetic presenter, face or voice anywhere in it. AI is used in two main places: reading your audio so each caption lands on the right word, and checking the transcript against our terms. No part of the picture is generated by a video model.
Where can I post the videos?
Anywhere that takes a video file. Warble renders an MP4 in either shape: vertical 1080 by 1920 for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, or widescreen 1920 by 1080 for YouTube, LinkedIn and websites. Every theme comes in both. You download the file and upload it yourself, so no account is connected and nothing is tied to one network.
What languages does Warble support?
Sixteen, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Pick yours under Spoken language on your account page and every note you record is transcribed in it. Warble asks you rather than guessing on the fly, because testing showed that detection can disagree with itself partway through a recording and quietly drop a sentence. If the language you want is not on the list, get in touch and say which one.
